Drawbacks–
- You need to order one size larger than the exact sole size you wear.
- Although the shoes are cheaper itself, you will find replica and fake ASIAN shoes a lot. So, buy wisely and original products.
- It needs careful cleaning as with rough detergent the fabric loses its shine

Best shoes under 500 in India : Lancer footwear is not a new name to the Indian footwear industry. They have been manufacturing good quality shoes in a lot of competitive environments.
This shoe although it is cheaper than the counterpart, but is of quite good quality. It comes in three different colors – Black green, grey orange and Navy sky blue. Mesh type fabric helps in proper ventilation to the feet and doesn’t feel like compact at all if you wear for long hours.
Drawbacks-
- Although the product is comfortable to wear, the sole used seems a look thinner from inside.
- Sole used is also on the harder side thus if you have a habit to wear soft soles you won’t like it.
- Although the shoes are washable, it is to note that excess water may ham the mesh fabric as they are not up to the mark. But that doesn’t mean that they are bad. They are somewhat justifying the price bracket they are selling in.

Best shoes under 500 in India : If someone talks of budget shoes and that too in India there is no chance that someone can ever miss BATA. Bata has maintained its position as largest-selling shoes in India for decades.
These shoes too live up to the expectations and name of BATA. They have a nice look and comes in two colors- Navy blue and Black. They are free off laces and thus are slip On shoes. This makes it easy to wear. And they are so light-weight that you can wear them for long hours. The mesh structure helps in ventilation for feet. The grip of the shoe is also good.
Drawbacks–
- While the quality of the shoe is good, but the logo comes out quite quickly in a few months with heavy usage.
- Since the laces are missing, so they should have had a better fitting. But there may be size issues. As of our member ordered this shoe and found out to be a bit tight. So, later he ordered one size bigger and that is a perfect fit. So, it’s advice to read the size chart of BATA before ordering.

Although AVANT is not a popular brand, I was surprised by specifically this shoe. It looked very funky and stylish. Even the sole quality was nice and comfortable considering the price point. Even one can remove the attached inward sole if you have any orthopedic condition.
The best part of the shoe is the breathable upper mesh fabric. Thus it can be used in walking, running and even in the gym too. The grip of the shoe is also very good and resists slip providing better friction.
Drawbacks-
- The inner sole is a little thin and can be felt while running for long duration. They are not bad but not that good either.
- Since the colors are punchy, they need extra care in washing too.
- There is no such branding and in that department, you may feel it to be a locally mended shoe.

Sparx Mens’s Canvas Loafer shoe-
Sparx is also a known brand in India for shoes. And these very shoes maintain that brand name. It looks trendy and stylish. They are easy to wear Slip-On shoes. Although the sole is of rubber but the grip it provides is just incredible.
It comes in three colors Black, navy blue and sky blue. And I must say all look good. For this budget, they provide great value to the buyer. They fit nicely too.
Drawbacks-
- Unlike other Sparx shoes, this one is not on the softer side
- The sole is also quite thin.
- It will require extra care while cleaning.
